New York State Fair Gets Its First Cannabis Advocacy Booth
For the first time in its nearly 200-year history, The Great New York State Fair will host a cannabis advocacy booth in 2026. Set up by the Empire State Green Standard Alliance in the Horticulture Building, the booth will give fairgoers factual information about product safety, labeling, responsible consumption, and New York’s regulated cannabis market.
The Great New York State Fair has been running for nearly two centuries. It has showcased agriculture, food, entertainment, and the industries that define the Empire State. Starting this August, it will add something new to that list: a booth dedicated entirely to cannabis consumer education.
